Since June, National Guard troops have been deployed across multiple cities as part of this unprecedented domestic security initiative. The newly launched website directs visitors to the official federal jobs board, featuring open positions for U.S. Park Police officers. The listing highlights opportunities to protect “National Park Service icons and symbols of democracy” while emphasizing the need for firearms proficiency and readiness. Qualified recruits may also receive a bonus of up to $70,000 over four years.
